Back in July I collaborated with Adele Winteridge for an exhibition at the Dear Patti Smith Gallery in Fitzroy. Adele had designed a mobile that was balanced with growing native seedlings in response to a song by local band Winterpark. I loved the idea, and it was my job to knit the cute little pockets that the planters were housed in.
The little guys were just so goddam cute. Can i just say I'm pretty sure that hanging knitted plants are going to be HUGE. They are going to be the next big thing in the landscaping/interior world, surpassing even macrame planters I swear. Vogue Living/Frankie 2012, seriously.
