Crafty Little Monster

One of my closest friends had a birthday party on the weekend for her beautiful one year old daughter and I wanted to give her something super special, so I decided to make this cute little toy for her!

I knitted up the body of the monster on my knitting machine and sewed it all together.  (I bought this amazing knitting machine from a woman out in the country years ago.  Mum and I spent ages searching the trading post - yes that's how long ago it was... it's incredible, you can knit up a full scarf in 20 minutes!  I've never been one for doing things the slow way...)

I sewed all the parts together and used my vast collection of fabric, yarn, buttons and ribbons to give the little man some character.

And the end result I think she liked it and had a great time at her party! Too cute.
